Bike doesn't turn over. Hot Battery with bright lights but just get a solenoid "click" and the lights going dim when the start button is pressed. Bump starts and runs fine. Anyone had this before??

Have you done an actual voltage check at the battery? You might have enough juice to turn the lights on but the battery could be to low to be able to start the bike.

Solenoid clicking is common to bad battery.

Easy thing to do.... take a set of jumpers to car battery ( car turned off ) to the bike's battery... try to start.
If if works, bad battery !

Many times the static voltage is fine with a voltmeter, but with a heavy draw the battery can't produce and voltage sags to low to start.

A friend's ST showed the same signs. It was his battery. It's a good idea to get yours load tested. Having the voltage is one thing. Having the cranking amps is another.

As a battery ages it loses capacity. It gets to the point where riding down the highway keeps the decreasing capacity charged but stop and go traffic draw on the battery as well as the alternator and when you need to start it: surprise.

The friend let his battery charge on a 2A charger (not a tender) for 30min and the ST fired right up. Then we killed the engine and left everything else on (stock bike no farkles) for two minutes. Not even a solenoid click even though the lights were bright. A new battery cured it all. So a load test on your battery would be in order.

I'll add that a 1300 with a good battery won't last a lot longer!

Check and clean then tighten the battery connections. (cheapest option worth a shot).
Then put a multimeter on the battery terminals and measure the voltage sage while cranking. With a full charge you're shooting for 10.6 volts while cranking. Lower voltage while cranking, clock/odo resets are classic signs of a battery on the way out.

The headlights should go out not dim while cranking.
