editing profile

I'm trying to put a picture in my profile, but it always said install failed; what am I doing wrong. I browse for a picture, find one, then click open, and it says that it failed. Also, how do I put in the map and fill it in?

Try a smaller size pic. Too much data to upload high definition pics

At the top of the general forum, there is a sticky note on how to add a map to your signature.

From the Edit Profile Picture page:

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 200 by 200 pixels or 293.0 KB (whichever is smaller).

Resize/resample your desired image (MS Paint works) and save it with a unique file name. Verify its size with Windows Explorer and then use that version for your profile. HTH
