I'm looking at the picture and now I have several questions. None of which revolve around the car tire on a bike.

The tire should fit ... I haven't heard of a Goodyear in this set up as typically it is a Continental. But, that doesn't mean much.

I'm curious about those yellow guard / bracket things. Can you tell me more about those?

When you install the tire make sure there is NO air in the tire. If you have ABS watch the sensor as it slides past. Check for rubbing in the back on the frame.

Mine is a BF Goodrich G-force Comp2 (non run flat) and it was a tight fit too. Mine fits with no rubbing. Run it at 28 psi for a no twitch ride.

Unless this thing kinda "sucks in" I dont see it fitting the cavity under the seat....looks like it would clear the swingarm. This size fits no cut??

The plastic tank and pump on the left are a hydration system , and the system on the right is a CTC1000 (cooling/heating sytem)

+1... install deflated. I had to "shave" the swing arm molding mark to get no rub on my GYTT

I thought the same thing when I got my first tire, that tire should fit do you have a picture of the front where the tire meets the swing arm? You may have to deflate the tire to get it up into the area first.

Be sure to put a plastic bag between the tire and left side for the swing arm to help it slide in, Works every time with my ABS Bike.

Could you please post a bit more info on this? A Google search returns a lot of other things with the same part number but none that seem to be this unit. Thanks!

Thank you! Searching. "ctc-100 cooler" reveals plenty of reading.

Warning! Do not buy a ctc direct..... I had nothing but hassle. The unit works pretty well. If you want one buy directly from coolshirt. They call it the "procool lite"

This cool shirt cooling system seems to be garnering more attention than the darkside tire. It looks a lot like the Veskimo item.

Excellent.

Would enjoy follow up with how it feels, performance and overall handling differences .... if notable.

Thanks !!!

With that being a winter compound, I am wondering how well it will last. They're usually a softer compound and don't do so well when its warm out.
this is all I will run! (first GY winter) I ran 3 or 4 Dunlop wintersport on my Wing ( I lost count...) Ran 1 Donlop wintersport on the ST...when I needed the next, could not find it that size...so I went with GY. Feels about the same as the Dunlop.
On the Wing, I ran it through South Dakata, yellowstone, and when we got through Utah, it was 106F ! But most of the riding is 70 to 80F....
On the Wing I get around 25K miles
The ST got about 20K on the first one....
Handles great...I have no interest in trying any other tire!

Let me know if you do.. I have a long commute each day to the airbase. Summertime is making that ride a little warm and sweaty in gear.
