Audiovox Cruise question

I have installed a number of Audiovox cruise for fellow ST owners here in Alberta and I am asking if any of you (members of the forum) have encountered the problem of the cruise not engaging at higher speeds 120-130kph (75-80mph) and what I might look at to rectify the issue. Works correctly at speeds up to that point but not beyond.

I don't have my instructions to refer to, but I believe that you could change the pulse counter setting, to correct the problem. Check the DIP switch settings and compare with another unit that works correctly.

Dip switches are all set the same as every other unit I have installed, 8 of them. But I will read up more on the pulse counter. Thanks for suggestion.

A little further to OP's first post. It's on my bike. The cruise works fine up to 75 mph. Engage it at 80 or above, and the bike slowly slows down to 75 and stays there. At 75 on a steep hill it slows a few mph and holds.

I had an Audiovox on here a few years ago and had the same problem. Took it off for other reasons but that's a common thread with Audiovox cruise and my bike.
