Fork seal saver?

Hi all, I'm posting this question on behalf of a rider in California who used to be a member here but hasn't been on the site in years.

He asked me to find out which is the recommended fork seal saver for the ST1300. His words: "Some sort of slide on or a wrap that velcros at the back side????
Tempted to just slide an old clean sock down the tube till I can find the real deal. The "zip on" manfrs have three sizes from 1 1 1/4" .... 1 1/2' AND 1 3/4 "??? SHEEESE"

Can anybody help him out?

We've had those on our '93 CB 750 Nighthawks since new. 68K and 65K mk. on mine and hers respectively. Original fork seals on both, no leaks. I have a pair on our '09 ST too.
