I put on the Bridgestone run flat to do the Butt LIte 8 and thought I'd give some review of it. The tire now has approx 7k miles on it.

The tire is a bear to mount. The sidewalls are very still and you aren't getting this on with your no-mar. Once mounted it fits well in the frame with no rubs. The tire is fairly rounded with a 6.5 in treadwidth.

I much prefer it over the Hankook and the Michellin I had run before. It is stiffer in the corners, more predictable, no squirrelly-ness. It is wearing very well. Looks new at 7K (is rated for 60K). I ran this at 38 psi and in the heat (97 degrees in Nevada) the tire pressure rises to about 45 psi.

Good tire. Best car tire I have run. Can't comment on it's ability to run with out air. Yet.

About 1800 or so. I must admit there were a couple of choice points where I could have taken the smooth interstate back to the checkpoint or I could take the twisty and sometimes rough alpine roads and grab some more boni. Alas, I took the road more challenging. I can tell you that if I hadn't gotten that shock replacement at the checkpoint I would have been in serious doodoo the second leg. Bikes work so much better with a shock.

I ended up getting 3500 miles out of my pr4 on leg one then had to replace it on leg two because it was down to the wear bars! I'm thinking car tire may be the way haha

Are you free to run any tire at all on the front with that ... or do you have limited choices on the front tire to pair that with?

I've got one of these on my Wing and it seems to be wearing much better than my previous Michelin Alpin. My ST won't need a new rear for a while but might mount one of these on there too.

I now have almost 13000 on the drive guard. It's holding up very well, rides well, corners well (for a CT). I still have 5/32 of tread on the tire. This tire may make 30k? I'm sold on it. I've run the BL8 and the CycoStampede on it and it's ready to go do another rally. The front tire is cupping, however.

Well, after running the BMRx the back tire is showing some wear. At 19K it's not at the wear bars but it's getting in that neighborhood. I need to decide on changing it out before the Niitwit rally in Oct. I was really thinking this tire would go 30K. Not so.

Got 13k on the same tire on my Wing. I'll report back once it nears EOL.

I checked the tread depth. 3/32 remain out of 11/32. That's 1/32 above the wear bars and the mileage is only 17K. So it's wearing about 1/32 per 2000 miles. My planned ride later this month is 2600 miles. Hmmm.... might be a chance to try out the run-flat feature of the tire.

The driveguard is gone! It hit the wear bars before the Niitwit rally so off it went. Ended up between 17 and 18K Kind of disappointing for a tire rated at 60K. I was hoping for at least 25K. Put new Michelin PR4 GTs back on and it feels like a bike again. Almost twitchy.

I did better with my first Hankook. Disappointing I agree!!
