Joined here in 2011, took a while but I became a Pan owner yesterday !

year 2000 st1100, 27,000 miles, seems nice and clean.

Looking forward to getting out to play :D

Talk about a "delayed reaction"!

But don't feel bad, I might have not joined until I bought my first ST1300 back in November 2005, I had my eyes on the ST1100 when I first saw in 1990/91.

I skipped the 1100 and went for the 1300 instead! ;)

Congrats on the purchase!

Thanks all.

Took the bike through to do shopping for F-i-L, should have been a 30 miles round trip but took slight detour on the way home :)

100 miles later in glorious sunshine, bike feels very stable down to around 5mph (more so than my xj600s).
Need to watch the speed as I am used to 4000rpm=60mph....... not on the Pan!

There is only one drawback from your purchase. You will probably find that owning one of these fine machines takes all of the joy and excitement out of visiting the dealership showroom to look at new bikes.

Next step is to take it on long rides up the west coast and post lots of pictures!!!
You have a lot of beautiful, and surprising, country there!!!
