Agreed .I find this is the best position for the screen, allowing the wind to flow over your helmet yet providing unrestricted vision.
With the Laminar Lip, on the stock windscreen, you can do just that with no buffeting or wind in your face.
No need to change windscreens - it's the best $100 I've spent on my ST1300A..
I ride looking over the windscreen with no face shield, just my glasses & clip-on sunglasses always - except in rain..
