Been riding since I was 10 years old and today was the first time down. A lot of road rash but nothing broken. Bike is toast. It still starts but the tupperware is not very good. Probaby cost more to fix it than to buy another used one. I just got it all set up like I wanted. Just tired and think I will heal up and think about it for a while. I guess this counts as more than a tip over :)

Heal fast......bikes are just parts and pieces. Time heals all wounds.

Sorry to hear of your incident but as everyone else has said, glad it wasn't worse.

Hate to see a bike wrecked but as has also been said there are always more out there. (There's an '05 ABS on my local Craigslist at the moment with less than 9,000 miles on it, for example. The seller is asking way more than what I think the market will bear but he may figure that out. It is also marked "OBO" in the ad and that figure will be well under the asking price, I expect.)

Have a think then get back on the horse and ride. Or not. Do what YOU need to do.

Sorry about your spill. Price the parts needed and you might be pleasantly surprised. Get well soon.

Good that you are able to post about it! Heal up, then get back in the saddle. Good luck with the repair or replacement.

MM, sorry to hear of your 'drop'--the bike can be replaced. Never good to read such, but is good to hear you're posting and 'just' sore, not worse. Pay close attention to what your body is telling you in the first couple days though--could be a bit more damage than one wants to believe.
