Anyone know the spec on the clutch spring plate bolt torque? The closest I could deduce was for the 5 and 6 mm bolts in the front of the service manual.

I looked everywhere in the Honda manual, however, Murphy kept me from seeing it in print, especially for the exploded view of the clutch assembly. The only number there was 80 ft.lb. for the basket shaft nut.

If someone can direct me to a page or number, I would be grateful for any assistance. Thanks.

I also cannot find that value in the ST1100 service manual. The same bolts in my VFR800 are 12 N-m, same on my VTR1000F, same again on the ST1300.

Thanks Terry. Will go with that very functional value. Took a couple of attempts tightening the bolts evenly to keep the center barrel free turning. Waiting on the new clutch ss line and slave cylinder seal kit. All kinds of corrosion in that area. Must of parked at beach.

Installed the ss braided replacement clutch line and bled the assembly. Best clutch action ever, rock solid against the EBC springs. I'm gonna have a Popeye forearm after a couple of weeks working the clutch in traffic, hah!
