Proud owner of 4th ST1300

I can't believe that I am the owner of yet another Honda ST1300!!!!

Yesterday I had the good fortune to meet one of the nicest fellas on the forum.

Dohboy was passing through and stopped by for a visit on his way to the Seattle area to deliver a motorcycle to his daughter.

On his arrival he gave ME a new bike.......

So, now I have 4 ST1300s to take care of........at least this one doesn't get bugs stuck to it and the tires last a lot longer...:bow1:. And the battery is much less expensive......

So, what oil you going to run in it, Teak?

I'm thinking Murphy's Oil. Way to go Ron!! Excellent work.

Danish or maybe a good 10/40 Tounge oil.....

Or maybe someone can fill me in on what a brand new 2016 cherry ST1300 should run for oil......my service manual doesn't cover the 2016 model....

Nice! Remember the old advertising slogan...."You meet the nicest people on a Honda"! Still true today!

Well, that's a good start!
But, as most everybody here will tell you, needs a better seat!
Along with cruise, better suspension and another gear.
So start cutting it up to make it 'better'!

I see Honda is going retro with the 2016 with the analog clock instead of digital as on the 1100 and earlier 1300s.

Just watch out for the type of oil you use. You wouldn't want it to go Darkside.

Kari did make a pie for him.... raspberry and huckleberry.....with ice cream.....but we didn't have 70 candles . I think he will be back anyway.
