Colonial pipeline leak

People started panicking around here starting Friday evening, there were long lines at every gas station. Stations began running out of fuel Friday evening and Saturday morning. I had to make another run into town yesterday evening and was able to fuel up at the local Kangaroo with no waiting and Regualr was still 2.05. My son was working in Shelbyville and said there were no long lines at the pumps there Friday or Saturday. My guess is things will settle down by tomorrow.

Yes there are some shortages. Just today I rode from Bryson City, NC home to Huntsville, AL. Stopped for gas in Adairsville, GA. The big QT station at I-75 & GA-140 was out of everything except diesel. At the Click across from the QT they were out of Regular & Mid-grade but they did have Premium, so I paid the $3/gallon price and got home with no further problems.

Also, I did not see any shortages in Bryson City or Robbinsville, NC, nor in Tellico Plains, TN.

It's spotty around here but things are slowly getting back to normal.
