I'm still here. And thinking. Still not ready for "final answer", still thinking between fixing bike and buying new bike. Mostly financial reason. Still doing "research".

I found these:

Would they fit to 1998 ST1100? I'm assuming yes, but last time I assumed it brought me to this situation :D
If yours is a non-ABS then these will fit. I'd offer to buy all 3 and try for a price break. At least on the shipping or go pick them up if close enough.

It's non-ABS.
The seller is in Huron, OH, 620 miles from me - will not save on shipping except it could be nice trip to see the area. :)

Yes, I believe those parts would fit your '98. The wheel looks OK. The driven flange splines show a bit of wear from what I can see in the pictures ('shelfing'/step). The final drive splines show significant wear, again... from what I can tell zooming as best I can. You could possibly run that final drive for a while but I'd keep looking. MHO

Afan, ask the seller to clean the final drive splines of all grease/paste and take a picture(s) to confirm my suspicions.

John
I sent him an message already for hi-res pics but never got back any response. I'll definitely try again.

To me it looks like the final drive splines have a lot of wear on them (probably why the person selling it left the grease in place to hide the damage).
I would pass on all 3 if it were me, due to the suspected damage of the driven splines and the final drive splines. The wheel also looks damaged on the area around the bearing!
My suggestion would be keep looking.

I asked two times for the pictures but the guy from eBay showed really high level of non-profesionalism. First, his first respond after my second request was something like "... all my clients are happy with my parts and if something's wrong just return it..." (?!?) I explained to him it's kinda wasting of time and money sending parts back and forth, so it's gonna be much better solution to make these pictures and send me. Couple days later he said he asked his people to clean the parts and make the images. And than, couple days later, he said he will do it but, since Monday is Columbus day, they will send me on tuesday?!? Again, couple days after the Columbus Day I asked him again about the pictures and he sent his respond "He are images!" There is only one problem - no images in attachment. I tried to ask him to send me images to my email but eBay doesn't allow to post an email address to a message so I asked him to try again or, in case I'm looking at the wrong place, to explain to me how to find them. Never got an answer.
So stay away from "yz12910rv" or you're gonna waste a looooot of time...

Anyway, the parts are ordred from Partzilla - coudn't wait and search any more. Already wasted a month of riding...

I took the final drive to the local dealer to check how much they will charge me to replace the parts and the bill was $1002 (parts, labor, tax...) But they charged for parts more than Partzilla so I just bought new parts from Partzilla and they will fix it. Lowered the cost for a bit over $300.

Jus' saying, and too late now, but the internal arts of the dialog drive on a 1500 are the American as the 11. I purchases and entire rear end, wheel, swing arm, rake, final drive, and drive shaft for $200. Lots of them available from trike shops. The spider is the same too. Cheap to disassemble and reuse those arts. The case is different so can't be used directly.

George we may need a translation on that post.

The 1500 wing parts will work in any ST1100?

The wheel from the 1500 will mate to the 1100 with some spacers to bring the 1500 wheel to center line on the 1100.
If I recall, there were two 1500 wheels. One with 4 drive dogs and one withe the same 5 dogs as the 1100.
Hope this helps translate for you Raymond.

I ordered Honda Moly paste for rear drive. But, do I use the same paste for bearings and other places as lubricant or I can use something else? Like this synthetic grease? Or it has to be moly grease (is this one good)?
