Heated gloves?????

I have First Gear heated jacket and heated pants, Gerbing heated gloves and heated sole inserts for the boots. All of that is running on a First Gear dual controller. Using Y cables I have paired up the jacket and pants on one channel of the controller and the gloves and boots on the other channel. This combo (with a balaclava and tight-knit wool cap under the helmet) is good for extended periods in the low teens. I absolutely love all of the items except the pants. Maybe I got a bad pair but, they heat only in one spot. Heat is only felt in the lower abdomen and no where else. Often I will have to unplug the pants as it gets uncomfortable hot in a localized area.

Still, the heated gear was the best money I have spent in a while. I could kick myself for waiting so long to get it. It has added a couple of months to each end of the riding season, making it possible to ride nearly all year if the roads are clear.
