Goldwing foot pegs sound like the answer

They're also known as 'cap nuts' in case shopkeepers think you're a little squirrely.
haha! It was actually the parts guys who were calling it an acorn nut bolt. I just showed them what I had from the old ST peg.

They might have thought I was squirrely without the cap nut too! :)

Got the Gold Wing pegs and installed 1 so far. Fit's perfectly. I've got most of the tupperware off now on another job so I'll wait till that's out of the way before I install the other peg.

I'm not sure why the ST would have an 8mm thick skid bolt and the GW has a 6mm bolt? The bigger bike with a smaller bolt? I was tempted to drill and tap the GW peg to accept the ST 8mm bolt ,but spent the $6 and got the proper ones. :)

Could be that Honda doesn't expect that Wingers will heel the bike over like the ST. I've met a couple/three Wing riders who're proud that then grind the pegs. They don't seem very fast though.
