Have had my ST since June 2003 and first tip over this summer at ONSTOC, lost my footing at a gas station.

Today backed out of neighbor's storage shed (my shed is getting a new floor and is out of commission) onto nice slick grass. In gear and accelerating while turning right to get up a small incline to the driveway and rear wheel spins and slides hard to the left and down I go on the right side. You'd think with all the off road bike experience I've had I could manage a 3 or 4 foot slide, but apparently none of my old dirt bikes weighed 800 pounds.

So, I think I'm done with tip overs for the season but a really helpful person mentioned "never two without three" so I guess I'll be on standby for the next couple of weeks until the bike gets put away for the winter.

Bummer that you couldn't keep it up! And as Jim said, you have plenty of company...
