I've searched the site a bit, but I can't find anything on cutting a slot in the tip over bar covers for MCL highway wings. Does anyone have, or know where I can find a pattern to cut the slot? The screw on the right side cover came out and the cover fell off while riding and was damaged before I could stop, turnaround and get it. Any suggestions on cutting the plastic cover? Should I use something like a Dremel tool? New covers with the holes in came with the highway wings and I have the originals to use as a replacement, I just need to cut the holes. MCL sells them pre-cut, but I am trying to save some money here.

Thanks for any help!

I just eyeballed it from the one on the other side when I killed one. Dremel works ok, free handed the end radius in a drill press to get it a little cleaner. Note there are 2 MCL sizes. I have the original one that doesn't extend as far forward as the current gen 2 one does. I could send you a photo of that if it will help.
