2009 T Max. I needed something smaller than the ST for town runs and the Zuma 125 just wasn't fast enough for the road I live on. 55 is the speed limit, but 70 is par. This thing handles great and it will hit triple digits. It's a blast to ride, I just wear a dark face sheild so my friends don't see me. :D

Wife has a 650 Burgman, I've taken it now and then for short rides around town. It's a hoot!!!
Do your mirrors have a lot of vibration out there on the end of the long mounts?
Have fun!!!

A former girlfriend had a Honda 125 Elite with the hide-away headlight. That thing was fun to ride. I've got no room for a second bike but something small(er) for errand-running would be nice. Even a naked GL1000 would feel smaller. And Triumph twin even smaller.

I too wear a dark shield on my helmet while riding my scooter- BUT it IS fun! I take my wife to work on it, and take it for rides to do shopping, etc. 72MPG is about average on it. I am saving for a mid-size bike ( likely an NC 700), but the scooter is not going anywhere- it's a nice supplement to the ST.

Is this the motivation source for the TMAX?

530cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC inline twin-cylinder; 4 valves/cylinder

I had to look it up on the 'net, as I had never heard of it before. The spec above is for a current (2016) model, don't know if that's changed since 2009. At something less than 500 lbs wet weight, I don't doubt that it will hit triple digits. Looks like a fun way to get around.

The new T Max is 530cc where as mine is a four ninety something, almost 500. Not sure about any other upgrades. Thanks all for the well wishes. I just made a run to town and back and it's faster than using the cage I know that. This makes three scooters and two motorcycles now. Maybe I need to downsize.
