A few years ago in fall I bought a 1980 CX500 from Minnesota, via ebay. I only bid once I found someone through Craigslist that was headed down to Texas and could delivery it. 'aint the internet wonderful. I won the bike (running condition, just needed some tlc) for $725. The fellow shipped the title down to me via fedex after I paid, but before the bike arrived. My craistlist rideshare find cost me $250 to have it transported in the back of a van to within 2 hours from me. I road it a year and a half, did all the regular maintenance and sold it for a profit. Buy your bikes from up north, and your cars from the south!
