Hi Folks,

Just had a new seat made for my ST, I have a bad lower back and needed the foam reshaping to move my backside 2" forward to make me sit more upright position.

The seat is definitely more function over form but is constructed really well, the cost was ?240 which included a seat base, which allows me to have a spare OEM seat if I ever sell the bike.

Ive done about 800 miles on it and I'm well happy with the results.

I also cut my bars, turned up some 30mm slugs and welded them in, this moved the bars to a better position for me while retaining the plastic cover on the bars.

The pic's aren't the best but you get the idea.

That's what really matters. The seat nicer looking than I expected with the function/form remark. I'm not familiar with the 1100 (before my time ST-wise) but the bars look absolutely stock. Nice work!

Your seat looks really good but the comfort is the most important. I have a similar low back issue and am considering going with the Russel seat. You send them your seat and they return it with their patented seat. I've heard many people say how much improvement you get with a comfortable seat, so looking forward to it!
Good job with the bars too.....what ever it takes to get you more time in the saddle! :)
