Replacing Ignition Wires

Do new wires just screw into the suppressor head? It looks like a screw-in terminal. The original suppressor on my 2005 ST1300 is not damaged but the original ignition wire broke off while being removed.

Yeah, you just screw the suppressor cap onto the wire. If it came apart near the end, and you can remove the broken bit, you may be able to trim and reuse your wire.

Thanks. I'll check the old wire but it is the shortest one.

You could just take the broken plug wire to an automotive or motorcycle accessory store and match the size to a high temp solid wire replacement. If you can't find it by the foot, maybe a kit for a four cylinder car or dune buggy?
