I forgot about an important event in our adventure. Lesson for all. The airline misdirected my luggage between Dublin and Barcelona. It did not catch up with me untul day 3. Disaster averted by careful packing. I had my helmet, boots, mesh jacket and liner, CPAP machine, toiletries, and change of underwear in my carry-on. Quick shopping trip for extra base layer, sox, sweatshirt, plus a few items borrowed from my buddies kept me on the trip with minimum inconvenience. Was happy when the bag with my Roadcrafter and other stuff arrived, but I did have to ride with the big rolling duffel strapped on back instead of leaving it at the start point as planned. Moral to this story is don't let the essentials out of your control.
