Great Write up Pants. We can all associate with your need to get out and 'enjoy the road!' I have holiday coming up end of February, (that's the height of summer here in New Zealand), and am facing the same anticipation of some good rides and a bit of camping with my wife. As I mature a little (!!), it's a challenge to stop and look at the scenery instead of just 'getting there'. Your write up and pics is good incentive to savor the moments beside the black top along the way.
