Hi all. Do I need to remove the engine to repair the slave cylinder for the clutch what do I need to take off the bike to get at it. Sorry I don't have a manual.

No, you don't need to take the engine out. Take off all the lower plastic at least for easy access. I had to drop the right side exhaust headers to get mine off, but others here claim it can be done without that step.

If it's an ST1100 the slave cylinder is easily accessed, front and center after pulling the lower gray farings. For an ST1300, the slave is at the back of the motor. The manual says to pull the engine but folks have serviced it without resorting to that.

Another reason for me to keep my old ST1100 instead of replacing it with a ST1300 .......
