What is the spec for the two bolts on the thermostat housing?

I found specs for a thermostat flange bolt at 9 lbf-ft but I don't know what a thermostat flange is. Why does the manual put the flange in the torque specs but not mention the thermostat housing. Also 9 lbf-ft sounds a little high for those small bolts, I'd have thought 6 lbf-ft.

If you've replace your thermostat what torque did you use?

I'd like to start putting the bike back together now.

Looks like 9ft lbs = 108 inch lbs for a 1300
Thanks much. Just love manual labeling, thermostat flange bolts must be the thermostat housing cover bolts. My service manual points to the pictures as thermostat housing cover bolts, but lists the torques under thermostat flange bolt.
