Hi guys where can i buy a thermostat from for my pan 1300 been looking ebay and google cant seem to find anything please.
ive managed to order a new ETC switch which should be here this week,
im having the issue of the fans not cutting in
and once the heat has gone up in the red with the flashing light
luckily just as i got home
history of the bike is its only done 200 miles in the last year so i am thinking something is jammed up possibly thermostat
and probably gammy connections on the switch.
i also here that there is an awful lott that has to be taken off to do this job.
did i read somewhere that someone has a PDF on how to do this job....
Many many thanks Gary.

I went from a normal mixed roads MPG of 42 down to 36 when my thermostat starting going bad, but I am a little heavy with the throttle so your mileage may be different.

It depends on what you have it set to display:
Avg fuel kilometers per liter (this is a guess as I suspect you have your bike set to display kilometers).
or
kilometers per liter figured every ~20 seconds.

Which do you have it set to display?

Because you are in the UK it can be miles per litre, kilometers per litre or litres per 100 kilometers depending on the model of ST that you have according to the attached page from the 2008 Honda Pan European owners manual.

Honda says 29 litres. How much the tank holds really won't help you determine your fuel consumption. Fill the tank up so you have a starting point. After that every time you put gas in the tank record the miles ridden since the last time you put gas in and record how many litres you put in. Miles ridden divided by litres consumed = your consumption in miles per litre.

I've run mine to past the 300 mile mark, but not recommended as it's not too good for the heart! I usually fill up at around the 250 mile mark and there is still more than a gallon left in the tank.
