• Start with a City beginning with A
    • This is BY STATE
    • Similar to the Tag contest, there will be one thread per state
    • Post a picture of your bike AND some sign, building etc which clearly shows the city/state you're in
    • The next person posts from a city with the name beginning with B, then C, D, etc
    • You can't posts back-to-back pics, you have to wait for a person to post the next city
    • Once Z is reached, the game starts over with A
    • If your state doesn't have a city beginning with the next letter in sequence, it's okay to skip that letter
    • If the location sits for more than one month, the person that posted that is open to move it to the next letter.

The World Wide game is a bit different as it is by whatever is considered a geographic type of regional category, state/province/village etc. and all those will be in the single World Wide A-Z topic.

When i got [Q]uintana the other day, on the ride back, i contemplated stopping at each town/village and snap a photo (i prob could have gotten 1/2 the alphabet), but figured it was a bit like "cheating". To me, it's about the ride to get a letter, not gathering snapshots in a day. Where i live, i could get 90% of letters within 2-3 hours, if not less. But that's just me rambling.
It's just about the ride. Get 1 letter at a time or 20, doesn't matter, you had to ride to get them. Just do what works for you. I've gotten several in the past and I've gotten just 1 ot 2. They were good rides either way.

I agree on the photo grab but these pictures were from alphabet rides, my OK ride was 14 hours and 768 miles, my TX ride was 13 hours and 613 miles.

I set out one day with another rider's help, intent on getting half the alphabet and he the other half. He got called into work and I got a flat which ended our attempt. I got about 8 cities that day that I eventually posted in this game.

I had a flat on my TX alphabet ride, luckily I only had 5 more to get after I fixed the flat, last one was in the dark. I have the routes for TX and OK if anyone wants to attempt them. The OK one was a LONG day!

Close enough, I had thought about doing the TeXas sign since there is no X

I may go for the Z sometime next week, just a heads-up for the other procrastinators out there ....

While I applaud your effort, in a search I don’t see a town by that name.

Need ruling boss man?

A bit obscure but I'd vote for that as well. Its all about the ride...
It appears this is the only one of the referenced resources that lists Zimmerscheidt, but pictures don't lie, do they?

If the Z holds, how about grabbing that A Don? IF there's a town nearby starting with A
