I live in Nova Scotia and a friend of mine just runs a car tire on his bike so I'm guessing there's no regulation against it

I have been across the border and back numerous times with a car tire on the rear. I have never had the bike inspected for anything. They are interested in the amount of money you have and whether you're carrying firearms.

We can only hope that none of the customs guys frequent ST-owners.com and have read this thread.......

I have crossed dark side many times in New York, Vermont and Maine. Never gave it a thought, never an issue. We don't even take our helmets off any more. No problem.

When crossing the border unless you get pulled for further inspection the Border crossing agents don't get out of their booth so they wouldn't know what type of tire you are running.

Thanks to all who have replied. Sounds like they have more important things to know than which round rubbery thing filled with air you use.
