My 06 ST1300 has this wrap around crash bar. I thought it would be hard to find another one for my new 2012 ST1300. I was surprised to find out that the manufacture was in my home town! I called and talked to Terry and asked if they had any in stock. I drove by this morning and picked one up. It is the best $559.00 (out the door) in extra foot, ankle (and saddlebag) protection that I can add to the bike. The one on my 06 saved me when I had my two tip-overs! I also like the fact that it gives me space on the back to add two extra 2" round marker lights. It only comes in chrome. It bolts directly on to the stock ST1300. I had painted the one on my 06 black. If you are interested they currently have 4 more in stock and they are willing to make more and you can order direct. Part number #1300-002. $520 plus tax and shipping. They also make guards for other bikes too.

It is the built-in foot protection plus the additional rear guard that was one of many reasons I really like the ST1300. I never plan on dropping my bike but, if it happens, sliding on steel is better than sliding on a leather boot with 750 pounds of bike on it...

I had the #1300-007 small side bag guards on my 2004 ST1300 when I went down in a gravel parking lot. Total repair was for the front tip over covers (under $30). Slight scratches on the rear guards, but no other damage to the bike. My elbow on the other hand did not fair as well.
Great products from MC Enterprises.
