This could be a fun challenge for all the long distance riders amongst us. Visit all fifty adventures listed on this site- one in each of the fifty states.
Who will be the first to hit all fifty adventures? (I am sure that many of you have already been to all fifty of these locations.)
Who will be the first to do it in one riding season?
Who will be the first to do it as one continuous ride?

That does look like a fun challenge Andrew. I have not been to all of those specific sites, but I did complete a 49 state ride in 8 days and 11 hrs. I then rode from Alaska to Saskatchewan to log more than 10,000 miles in ten days.

Sounds like fun, and quite a bit of logistics! :bow1:

Just spotted this and was intrigued by the idea of a continuous riding adventure, but . . . Hawaii? My wheels aren't wide enough to get to that stop.

I've been to most of these stops at different times on different rides, but there are a few that I'll add to my list of places to go.

Thanks for posting this up.

Shuey

PS: Vermont? There's lots of places more interesting for a ride than Ben & Jerry's: Shelburne Farms Museum, any one of a number of covered bridges, the Whispering Giant statue in the Burlington park overlooking the river, Montshire Museum of Science . . .

What's with the blue text??? Entirely illegible on the black background. Hope this isn't a new "improvement" Joe.

It's always been blue, so . . . thanks for the heads-up regarding black background difficulties. Fixed.

I'm referring to posts #2, 3 and 7, all related to Garry in AZ. On my screen, Garry's post #2 is all in a dark blue and in posts 3 and 7, the quotes of his post in #2 are both in dark blue. Virtually impossible to read. Is that what others see? All other posts are normal - a very light blue I guess, but appears whitish on the dark background.

Hope that clarifies what I am seeing.

Been to many of those sites so far. Some still on my radar and will eventually see. A couple on the list really peak my interest... the rest I have no desire or interest. Would not visit those just because they are on someone else's "list".
