Has anyone tried the Tourance rear tire on the ST1300? I'm ready for tires and hoping for opinions. They are V rated, right size, and high tread. Hoping for feedback.

They were my regular tires when I had VSTroms. Good tires, reasonably good stick, reasonably good in the rain. Not sure I'd run them on an ST though - they're basically 80/20 tires.

They used to be made in Germany and supposedly the new ones are not made in China and I've heard the mileage has gone down due to that... I don't know.

I just put a rear Metzler Tourance Next tire on the Super Tenere - it's made in Germany so if I can ever stop working I might be able to give a mileage report, of course, it's still apples and oranges since it's not an ST.

Hard to beat the Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT. I get over 10K on a set. The deeper tread on the Metzlers may not equate to greater mileage.

Thanks all. It is the Next I was looking at. It's billed as 95% road/5% dirt. Here in Western Oklahoma, that might be a good thing.
