Rear brake judder

I have recently rebuilt the rear caliper due to corrosion behind the dust seals

Once the bike has been ridden and the engine and brakes are warm the rear brake pedal seems to travel longer and there is a vibration/judder when using the rear pedal only

If the rear brake is used often the judder is considerably less or non existent. Almost like the once piston travel has been taken up it works normally again

Have i bleed it sufficiently or is something else a miss?

Just some closure on this thread

There was still air trapped in the SMC and rear caliper

Just proves how critical the correct positioning of the SMC during the bleeding process is

Glad to hear you got it sorted out, it is a must that it's done in the exact sequence.

:plus1: Good job sorting it out! There are several places in the brake system that can trap air that a lot of folks don't know about. Kudo's to you for not giving up :bow1:
