After riding my '13 Wee from PA to Alaska this summer, the ST1300 is treading on thin ice as far as having garage space!

I replaced the OE Trailwings in WA with Motoz Tractionater GPS for the CDN and AK part and back home. 9000 on them and still lots left.

Crunched the numbers for the 2018 riding season.
Rainy and extra hot conditions reduced the miles this year...got in 7,369 and averaged 52.6 mpg.

Have added a Madstad mount to the medium Cal-Sci windshield, should be interesting. Bike is a 2016, shield is for 2016, Madstad is for 2011. Yep, drilled some holes!

I can't make myself get rid of my 07 DL650. I still love riding it on the back roads here in Ohio. It's a much cooler ride than the mighty ST in the summer months. They are great all-around bikes. Very cheap to own and operate.

Finally tested the medium Cal-Sci and Madstad mount. I can now get plenty of air when it's 90 in July and adjust it so I have no buffeting at 70mph with my visor up!
Also, added a pair of Aux spot lights from Adventure Tech. See and be seen!

Replaced the rear Pirelli Scorpion Trail II @ 11,899 miles. Was nearing the wear bars. Great in the rain and they stick well in the curves.

I replaced the Madstad on my Versys X300 with a Cal-Sci. I never thought to check if the screen fit on the Madstad mount. I'll check it this weekend.

Traded my 2014 Red Wee 650 in on my 2019 Versys 1000LT SE and keep the FJR. Really should have keep the Wee instead. Love the FJR but it is getting heaver each year.
The Versys 1000 SE is to die for but not as good on the dirt roads as the Wee was. So if anybody has a lead on a 2014 or 2016 RED Wee let me know.

The Versys X300 can't do dirt road road duty? BTW, getting Outex and 2 Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2 mounted on the X300 this week.

How can you be accurate by rounding to the tenths place??? I'd figure you for going to 3 decimal places?? :D
You must be slipping!

I’ve got a 2007 650 V-storm. While I don’t track fuel with the particularly that RedMotion does, I can say at 70 mph+ it gets much worse fuel mileage than my 08 ST1300. If I ride it at 80 mph I get something like 33 mpg.

Maybe the newer ones get better mileage.

Nope, I had a 2013 and it was terrible above 75.

Perhaps it's the weight of the rider, angle of the Madstad, type of tires, the addition of the winglets or shape of my side-cases on my 2016 V-Strom, but my runs when fully loaded for camping and running steady 75-85 mph, the mpg ranges from 41.3 to 46.6. Yes, I agree with Mellow, that's terrible.;)
