Hi, bit of a dumb question. Out on my new Pan today and forgot what a pain it is to check the rear tyre pressure. I have a Heyner double-barrel foot pump which is brilliant but the securing tab on the valve clamp won't go into the rear wheel recess as it's too long. What foot pump do owners favour these days?

Not specific to your problem, but a lot of us put on 90 degree valve stems fro easier access.

The first pump I got for a ST1300 roadside kit had that too-big-too-long clamp lever. My solution was to trim a little bit off the lever to clear the hub. I still have that pump but installing 83 degree metal valve stems was better.

Bought the Fobo TPMS when we did a group buy here. I installed the T valve stem and that makes checking the pressure and filling the air a breeze. Well, maybe a breath of fresh air....
