Although I've not been there recently, I've been to Stowe VT many times (always in the winter skiing). You really should do the Ben and Jerry's factory tour and get some ice cream-My favourite is Cherry Garcia. http://www.benjerry.com/about-us/factory-tours.

Moss Glen Falls is just outside or Stowe: https://www.tripadvisor.ca/Attractio...e_Vermont.html

In Burlington there is a nice museum of sorts http://www.echovermont.org/ if you're into that.

Just some quick thoughts, I'm sure you'll get lots of suggestions.

Cabot Cheese is definitely worth stopping at. Same with Ben & Jerry's - just make sure to walk out back and up the hill to the flavour graveyard. I recommend the quarry tour at Rock of Ages as well as a stop at the Trapp Family Lodge (built by the family made famous in the Sound of Music). If you are in that area you have to ride through Smuggler's Notch and I find it more dramatic if you head north on VT 108. Great dinner / lunch crepes at a place in Stowe, I believe it is called the Swiss Fondue Restaurant now.

Some of my favorite riding is in Vermont. I take the Ferry from Ticonderoga NY to rt 73 all the way through Brandon to rte.100. I also used to go through Middlebury to rte 125 - 100 S - Bethel Mountain road- Randolph. Rte 17 through Mad River glen is a fun road but pretty rough. Camped in Moose River Campground in St Johnsbury last fall and road northern NH and VT.

We where in Vermont last summer, spent a couple of nights in Norwich just across the river from Hanover Connecticut nice university town. We stayed at the Norwich Inn which I can recommend, they have an onsite brewery and just down the road you will find King Arthur Bakery which is definitely worth a stop or three for breakfast or lunch. Here is a link to some photos from the New England portion of last summer's trip #16

We really enjoyed Vermont would go back

I guess a correction is in order, right after I posted that I realized that I should have said across the Connecticut River in Hanover NH.
