Welp...I was trying to add a little grounding to my 28 amp alternator and I managed to crack the alternator casting. I guess it's time for a 40 amp upgrade. Parts are on the way from partzilla. Does anyone have a Lewis pin tool kit I can use/rent or good instructions for making a Lewis pin?

thanks!

Make one using the smooth shank end of one of the 28 amp alternator mounting bolts. You have three to play with. Drill a hole through one end of the pin to attach the extracting wire to. Getting the pin absolutely smooth on the cut ends makes pulling it out easier.
