st 1300 clutch casing

looking some help have just put a new clutch in bike but on running engine there is oil running out of a small hole in clutch cover casing have added a picture of casing with hole can anybody explain what this is for and why is there oil coming out, thanks

That's the weep hole for the water pump. The oil side of the seal has failed.
