Anybody got any experience of these & if so very difficult to fit? Don't even know how to get the plastic cover off! ?

Re: Handle bar risers ?

Cover comes off easy... screws around the bottom skirt. Risers may require extended brake and/or clutch lines, especially on the ABS model. I could only get about 1" rise on my '01 ST1100 ABSII without adding longer hoses so I did the flip-clip mod. On my '01 ST1100 non-ABS, I put 3.5" Rox Risers and didn't need longer hoses, but it was tight. A few options...

If you have a late ABS model (ABS-II), you can put the top brake line from a non-ABS model on and it will give you a couple of inches more brake line to work with. BTDT.

Cool! I have another ST1100 non-abs parts bike so I will try that. Thanks very much Don!
