Ride through the Beartooth Pass (US 212)

Dear friends


Continuing with the video posts, here is one on the Beartooth Pass (US 212). It is a road that starts and finishes in Montana, but most of it goes through the mountains in the neighbor state of Wyoming.


The highest point is over 10,947ft (3350m) and is an access to Yellowstone National Park if coming from East. Once in Yellowstone, I was able to see wild bisons just a few steps way, a truly amazing experience.

When I ride to my relatives in Washington, I always take Beartooth and Lolo passes.

Jealous!

When we tried to ride it about this time five years ago, it was closed from a snowstorm the day before. Consolation prize was Chief Joseph Highway; a great ride, but the tar snakes along some of it were brutal.
