Hi to all guys.
Today I dismounted the rear wheel of my Pan '90 for the first time to change disc, pads and brake oil. When I finished the job I put everything back without problems and everything worked, but ... I do not seem to remember this space between the wheel and the transmission box! it's normal?

Thanks for the attention!:bow1:

Just went into my garage and checked. Looks like my installation (1991). If all the parts on the left side fit back on, and the wheel spins with no unnatural sounds, it's fine.

+2 with OBF and Dean.
BUT, my rear wheel has 6 little bosses that stick out, two per spoke, can't see them on yours so it's difficult to compare.
But it does look about the same, if it's bothering you and for how long it takes do a reinstall.
Hope it helps.

Yes, everything fit perfectly and the wheel runs smoothly and without strange noises. As soon as I return from work I will measure, but 5 mm I feel right. Thanks so much, now I'm reassured!

I think the only thing you could do wrong when re-installing is forget the spacer that fits in the left side of the wheel. If you forget that, I'm guessing your caliper assembly wouldn't align properly, and you'd know something is wrong. Since your wheel is spinning normally, it would appear that you put it back together correctly.
