If 5500 miles is the "shakedown" ride, what the hell is the "event" ride. Is this a test ride for the 2023 ibr?

No doubt you could make some improvements, unfortunately we will be in the cage to carry all the stuff for a two week excursion.
Now I do have this other ST project that I can't get to totally communicate with the donor bike gauges(CANBUS).........If you really want a challenge!

That's the front end (forks) and risers & handlebars that should be on the bike

Nice tail section and seat as well.
Think of how nice it would be trimmed down a little bit more?
