Today at 11:28 a.m., my ST1300 gave birth to a bouncing baby milestone:

The blessed event happened on route 165 near the intersection of St. Clair Bridge Road just outside Jarrettsville, Maryland:

Bike and rider are doing fine.

I've owned this bike for just over 13 years, and while I've been unable to do the kind of miles I was doing early on for a whole lot of reasons, I still love riding it. Sure, there's plenty of other new shiny out there, but this machine is still a delight to ride and it will have a place in my garage for a very long time.

Here's to the next 50K! :beer3:

(And yes, being a moderator, giving myself the award was a little anticlimactic, but it's nice to finally have the little red box over there.)

Congrats on the milestone.

I remember hitting 50k and thinking that was a lot of miles on one motorcycle. Now I'm almost at 93K and looking forward to reaching 100K later this year and thinking that's REALLY a lot of miles on one motorcycle lol. These ST's are great bikes.

Congratulations! I can attest. That's a LOT of miles! Let us know when you hit 100,000?

Congrats!

I too was delayed to 50k for a number of reasons and I understand the 'love riding it' and 'delight' comments--those were my sentiments exactly. Which means you'll be changing bikes soon. :D

Congratulations Mark! That is an accomplishment to be proud considering the things on your plate in that time.
