Little help from the gurus please....

96 1100, 79,000 miles

Came off the center stand today, in my garage, and the bike went dead. Key on, no lights, but the clock works.
Battery is at 13.4 volts.
Checked the main 30 amp fuse 3 times and even replaced it.
Did the red wire bypass, and still no go.

What next. Thank you for all your help!!

I'd take a look at the connector for power to the ignition switch; a white connector with 5 wires below the front of the airbox. If you have battery voltage and a live clock, then power is coming from the 30A fuse along the red wire, it splits to the clock fuse F and the ignition, then from the ignition back to the fuse box along a red/black wire. Might be as simple as some corrosion on a terminal.

Check for 12v at the red wire first, then at the red-black wire with the ignition on, or jumper across the red and red-black terminals and you can bypass the ignition switch. If you have 12v, then the fault would be between the connector and fuse box.
