Cap Screw Torque

There are two cap screws over the passenger foot rest. On my bike they hold on the Tippi Bars. I want to remove these bars and install them on another ST1300. What is the torque for installation of these cap screws with and without the tippi bars?

The torque spec for these mounting bolts shown next to the illustration on pg 2-19 in my service manual is 47 lbf-ft for the left step holder, no reason to think the right step holder would be any different. This torque value is obviously without the Tippi Bars, but I doubt that it would be any different with them. If you still have the mounting instructions for the bars, check to see if they specify the proper torque. If not, you may be able to contact the manufacturer by email or via their website to pose the question to them.
