+: ridiculously low mileage
Probably in near new condition assuming paint is good

-: 28 amp alternator
All hoses and the belt are now 26 years old (but if low mileage and stored indoors, these items are probably OK)

You could price at $2500 and see if there's any takers and if not, maybe lower it by $250-500. Potential buyers will probably try to get it for a little less as well. It comes down to how quickly do you want to sell and what's the least you'll take to release it? The 2001 for $2200 was a steal actually unless it needed some work.

Check the online sources for motorcycle values. When I bought my 1991, two years back, the blue book value was $3200. It had only 17000 miles and the PO had rebuilt the brake, clutch cylinders and carbs, replaced the tires and battery. I paid $3600 for it....rode it home and spent $1100 replacing tubes, hoses, clamps, belts, etc. Most of that was a waste of time, but it made me feel more certain.

Yeah .... I stole it .... it has new tires and battery and even a fresh oil change .... I feel a little guilty .... but I'll get over it
