Does anyone know if Works Performance Products at

21045 Osborne St, Canoga Park, CA 91304

Phone: (818) 701-1010

is still in business? Their website is still up and their voicemail is taking messages.
No responses to email or voicemail at this point.
Anybody live in the area that could run over there and see?
I've got a Works Shock to have rebuilt but I don't want to ship it only to have it returned.

Hi Phil

I sent 2 shocks in for re-building in January and they were a little slow, but I wasn't in a big hurry for them. I haven't had any contact since the shocks were returned in March. IIRC, it took me a couple of phone calls before I made contact.

I called them a couple months ago and they were still there. Maybe they shut down and went on vacation for a while.

Hi Phil,

They rebuilt a shock for my ST1100 in April. I spoke to Ned a couple of times and he said they were swamped with work. It took them almost 3 weeks after my proof of delivery date to log my shock into their system as received. Altogether it took about twice as long to get it turned around back to me - but it works great now that it's back on the bike.

Makes me think I'd try Racetech instead, if I was starting from OEM. Lot's of google reviews mention difficulty talking to them.

If I can't get my Works Shocks rebuilt, then that is probably the next place I'd look also.
It would just be nice if someone that is nearby would just run over there and see what's up. :D

As others have mentioned Works is now Worx. Contacted them about 4 weeks ago to see about getting a heavy duty rear spring for my Works Pro Racer shock on my ST1100. They returned my emails, called me, sorted out the spring and sent it right out. I was happy with how it all went.

Still poor form not to acknowledge calls or email somehow. Even weekly change in phone message could tell a potential customer that 'yeah we're still in business'. It would keep people from assuming that they've gone the way of MCL f'rinstance who's site may still be active.
