Yes. A coworker ordered the exact parts. Color match slightly off and have patience as it took nearly 4 months for them to arrive.

I bought a complete set of tupperware from China. It was poor in quality and horrible in fit!

I sold it for 1/5 of what I paid for it. Not sure if the guy was ever able to get it to all fit or not... I did warn him!

That said, I have no idea how the mirror covers would fit, although you won't find me buying them....

Why not buy a 2012 mirror cover and have it painted?

Have a look at this thread starting at post 105- SupraSabre's Got a New 2010 ST1300 Project. The quality was so bad I think that he sent them back for a refund. This was several years ago- maybe the quality has improved??
One nice thing about buying from China...it costs you more to send it back than it is worth! No, I didn't send them back, I stored them outside in the box they came in, until I sold them about 6 months ago!

For my VFR800, I bought a nose, side and tail fairing from Auctmarts (eBay seller). I sent them a bit of my rashed fairing for a colour match, and they were pretty good to deal with (English was clearly a second language). Parts arrived in good order and quickly. They were nearly perfect, the fit is not quite 100% but close enough for an 18 year old bike, and the colour match was great. I had to massage a number of mounting holes and the parts are snug, but from 5 feet away, you can't tell they're not OEM. In the picture, the fender and tank are original, the rest is from Auctmarts.

The Chinese are capable of making excellent quality parts. I have used Chinese repros on my older bikes when OEM parts are unobtainium, with very good results. Problem is when they are produced for a US firm. That firm may contract a maximum build-to cost....at that point the cost cutting begins. If it can't be reached reasonably, we get 'cheap Chinese junk'. At $158, it's probably an acceptable assembly.

Some people seem to have issues, I ordered the whole set and it came within 6 weeks. Colour was only slightly off and you had to look hard to see it. They are not a perfect fit but I did not have much of a problem getting everything on. Have had them on for three years without issue.

I had a similar issue with my mirror cover. One day it just flew off somewhere on the freeway never to be seen again....

I ordered a set of mirrors and covers from China, it came fairly quickly and it fit with no issues.. Black matched well....
I replaced the mirror too since the old one was cracked..
I added a better tether so I will not loose it next time....

Thanks for all the info. Ordered from bikebandit and they were the ones who said it was backordered and possibly unavailable. Would rather buy oem if possible. I will keep looking. Thanks Chris....

Partzilla, who I always find is the cheapest and fastest for factory parts, shows it in stock for $72.64 w/o the turn signal light which is separate for $52.47. I bet if you watch Ebay, one will show up used. if you can wait.

I ordered a left hand mirror cover and turn signal from Partzilla after mine flew off on the highway when I gave it some healthy throttle. I ordered on the Sunday evening and received everything on the Thursday.

I use Partzilla all the time for most of my parts. eBay is hit and miss. with any of the tupperware pieces, it will be mostly miss. It's very hard finding good tupperware parts on eBay. You have to monitor it daily!

I bought from Honda after going through the eBay and Chinese pieces. The 2 separate parts are costly for OEM, but a no brainer to install. Also the Chinese signal bulb holder is very thin and you must be so careful in twisting the bulb in or you will be using JB weld. The OEM, I don't have to worry now and wasn't a lot of extra money over the knock off parts, but still expensive. I was going to put better tethers on, but haven't got there yet.

Those mirrors from Honda are dirt cheap compared to the ones on my BMW r1100rt. The ones on my rt come in primer and getting them painted will cost another $250:(
