Not much too speculate at this point but I'm interested in the announcement.

Maybe it's my imagination but is/wasn't there something from Honda that implied (or let us infer) that there was more than one surprise/bike in the offing?

Anyway like you say— three more days. Then we can all complain how the stupid engineers screwed up the GoldWing. :rofl1:

Loved that little C50 Super Cub. Was my very first new bike in 1964. Had a 3 speed auto trannie. Learned I could put it in first, push back on the shifter and rev it up while my brother held up the back end. High rev and he dropped it. Best wheelie ever back in the days even b/4 wheelies were popular. And my wife had the new 1981 Silver Wing Interstate (CX500).

Yup, the Super Cub always started, didn’t leak and everything kept working despite the abuse heaped on them by youngsters.

PS - I’d sure look at an updated lighter weight CX650 with more power, shaft drive, simple maintenance etc. and NOT the look of a transformer that was poised to jump up and change itself into a refrigerator or lawn ornament.

I talked to the owner of Stubbs motorcycles yesterday afternoon and he said a Honda rep at the dealership earlier told him that the new Goldwings won't be at the dealers until January.

If the F6B looks anything like the spy photos I will seriously be considering a new Honda in the next year or two. The new B gave me that same "Oh Yeah!" feeling when I first laid eyes on the 03 ST 1300! It still took me 4 years to pull the trigger on a new one!

It's now officially 24 Oct 2017 here in my cave in Bagdad Iraq, been waiting for this day a while. Looking forward to see all the specs on the new Goldwing models--guess Ill have to wait 20 hours or so.

Yep, it's the 24th, somewhere. I thought when the date hit Japan, it would be released, but no luck. Sorta like waiting on Christmas morning.

Add in updates/downloads, missing cables, general attitude towards punctuality....after lunch!!!

Well, the only thing I see on the Powersports website is another video and instructions to give an email address if you want to be notified quickly when the next video comes out. Not elegant, not cute, just a very ham-fisted way to build a solicitation and prospect list that will be turned over to dealers and used to badger everyone.

American Honda will have a video announcement for dealers later this evening. Somewhere are around 6 PM pacific time. Also will announce a new adventure bike, but looks like it will be a more hard core version of the Africa Twin.
