Hi, I have owned my 2003 ST1300 for about 2 years now and it has covered 46,000 miles.
The bike still runs faultlessly however, with the engine started but bike stationary and in Neutral I am aware of a Rumble noise from the clutch area and also a slight vibration felt through the handlebars BUT if I simply pull in the clutch , the noise and vibration immediately disappear for as long as the lever is held in.
I am fully aware of how the clutch works and the basic components involved but wondered if this is normal or whether there is a support bearing or something else that may need attention or is this normal?
The clutch works properly offering plenty of bite and also at the correct point and still retains a nice light action.
Any ideas as to what this might be please.
Thanks Darryl
