I have a '96 ST1100. I recently removed the garnish set (black plastic below windshield). I also removed the grey cover above the garish set. The grey cover has a flap on the backside. When I reinstall this cover, is there a specific position to place the flap? I believe the flap is intended to protect the instrument cluster from rain. Do I just let the flap hang down?
